Joins us for a Theater Workshop this winter!
February 25th-27th at the Chelsea Town Hall
GET THOSE WINTER BLUES OUT WITH AN
OUTRAGEOUS AND INTENSIVE
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN
The flower vendor meets the trapeze artist who lives in the Himalayas, which have been covered in a mysterious goo and the only tool they have is a shopping cart?
When the birthday cake gets burned?
When Martha finally gets an A+?
ONLY YOU KNOW THE ANSWER…
Be bold! Be brave! Go where NO ONE has ever gone before! Make what no one has ever made before!
In this workshop we will use all the theater tools we can find around the house to explore our physical creativity in character and scene creation…We’ll play improv games and practice our slapstick…We’ll shout and whistle…We’ll rehearse and perform within minutes…We’ll write, we’ll create, we’ll work together to instigate original scenes, unique characters, and silly battle sequences
Mostly, we’ll laugh and feel the burn.
The workshop will run each day for three days from 10–4 at the Chelsea Town Hall. On the third day there will be a brief showing starting at 4 for family and friends.
Anyone ages 12–19 is welcome to join us, regardless of theater experience
