Mission - At The Chelsea Funnery, we are constantly looking to improve and enhance the program for everyone involved. Our current mission to bring more ensemble building into the behind-the-scenes office work. We're looking to hire staff who would like to be a part of the year-round efforts of The Chelsea Funnery. Below are the listed positions. We're looking for people who love the Funnery and don't mind working on a shoestring budget. This is a new phase for The Chelsea Funnery and we're hoping you will build it with us! - This will entail applying for grants, maintaining a donor list/communications, initiating fundraising efforts, and always calling for Violetta.
Marketing - Also known as the Hautboy
- Advertising camp, shows, workshops. Ordering top-secret merch. Getting interviewed for the local paper, and more!
Registration/Communications - Also known as the Herald
- Emails and spreadsheets and forms! The Herald of the 21st century is tech-savvy and is determined to ensure every camper can sign up for camp smoothly.
Site Manager - Also known as Mistress Quickly
- There are a lot of places that the Chelsea Funnery needs to book each year. The Site Manager will ensure there's a camp space, performance space, insurance, and housing for staff. At heart, Mistress Quickly is the Funnery's innkeeper.
HR/Accounting - Also known as the Prince of the Purse & the Peace
- Budgeting, taxes, and helping the Funnery Team with all the overwhelming documents that arise. Ideally, the candidate has experience managing a non-profit with a fiscal sponsor.
Medic/Councilor - Also known as the Nurse or Friar
- We're looking for someone to join the Funnery staff for the two weeks of summer who has experience in first aid and can be a support for campers. This position is not year-round, and an ideal candidate also helps direct the play.
